Mold Damage – Chicago Heights Kitchen

Mold damage at this Chicago Heights kitchen was due to a leaky window that allowed moisture to wick along the walls behind the kitchen cabinets. This condition eventually led to the growth of a mold infestation. We removed the cabinetry to treat the mold damage and removed the window. We reinstalled the window with a considerable sealing agent to prevent future water intrusion. The cabinets and walls were cleaned and then treated with an antifungal product to prohibit mold growth.
